Owen Landry

We have finally decided on our son's full name! As you can see the blog titled, it is going to be Owen Landry. It actually took us a really long time to come up with this name. I know I still have a ways to go and some people don't even pick out the name until the baby is born. But Brandon and I are "super-planners". We can't help but to plan just about everything WAY in advance. We are really excited about the name and it just seems so perfect for him already!

I was able to experience my favorite part of being pregnant yesterday. I felt Owen move for the first time!! It was actually while Brandon and I were reading scriptures (which I thought was pretty cool). I love, love, love being able to feel the baby move and I missed this the most after having Brent.

Tomorrow, I am officially half-way there! 20 weeks down, 20 to go! It has seriously gone by so quick. I am so excited and it seems like each week one of my worries about having 2 children is replaced by a new excitement!

Twuck!

Brent is all about trucks, trains, and tractors now. Yesterday, we went on a little field trip to the Nashville Fire Station with Crayola Moms. During the tour, every child had one thing on their mind-getting into that BIG RED TRUCK and grabbing hold of that steering wheel. Brent was no exception. It was a real fun visit. We got to tour the facility and see where the fire fighters work and sleep. We got to mess all in the fire trucks and listen to the siren and look at the lights.

Here are some pics!

Planting Project

I really enjoy working out in the yard (a trait I inherited from my mom) so I tried my hand at a planting project the other day. I made this using 6 pots, a steel rod, flowers, and soil. I stole the idea from my mom who stole it from her neighbor so you are more than welcome to steal it from me! I thought it was a cute idea-something a little different for the flower garden.

It's a ....

BOY!!!!

We were all wrong! Brandon and I were convinced that it was a girl too. Brandon was explaining to the lady doing the ultrasound how we already KNEW it was a girl. After a few minutes of looking at the baby she said, "uh-oh...it's a little boy!". I was instantly excited but Brandon asked her to check it again, haha. We are both so excited. I think it is going to be great having boys back-t0-back. They will only be 25 months apart, perfect!

I absolutley LOVE having ultrasounds done! I have been looking forward to this day ever since I found out I was pregnant. It is just a miracle to be able to see your little one while they're still inside you growing. He was very cooperative and we got to watch him for almost a solid hour! Here are a few ultrasound pics.

The arrow is pointing at proof that he is infact a boy!

4D. This was my first time having a 4D ultrasound. He looks so cuddly!

Pink or Blue??

Okay folks, it's about that time. I've seen people put polls on their blogs before and I thought it was a cute idea so I've decided to do one. We go Thursday to find out what we're having. I'm so excited!! Brandon is pulling for a girl, and I honestly don't care. I think it would be neat for Brent to have a little brother OR a little sister. Anyways, just curious to see what people think. I mean, you have a 50/50 shot anyways. So...what's it gonna be? Pink or Blue?

Ice Cream Truck

The ice cream truck came through our neighborhood the other day. Brent enjoyed his ice cream so much he decided to eat it and wear it. It has taken 3 baths to get it all off his chest. Kinda scary, huh?
