A PERK to living in Rocky Mount

We are really enjoying living in Rocky Mount so far. There are a lot of things we like about living here. We get to see Brandon A LOT more, we are close to my family, better shopping ;), more things to do, and SNOW. We are much more likely to see snow in Rocky Mount than in Washington. So we got to enjoy Brent's first snow today, and Brandon got to stay home from work (his job is much more flexible now). We were in Florida for the first snow here this winter, so this is our first. Brent didn't really know what to think of it. He didn't mind putting it in his mouth ofcourse. That boy will eat ANYTHING!

Brent's first tooth came in a couple of weeks ago and he is working on the second one right now. Ofcourse he is knawing and drooling on everything! Brent also said his first word, kinda. Brandon got Brent to say "da da" the other day. He had no idea what he was saying but it was really cute. I recorded it and as soon as I figure out how to download that onto my computer I will post it.

We are loving it in Rocky Mount so far. It took about a week to get all the boxes unpacked and we feel pretty settled. I have been called to be the Sunbeams Teacher in church (3 year olds). Brandon hasn't received a calling yet but his time is coming...
