Fun with Words

Brent has been talking SO MUCH lately! It is really exciting. There is still MUCH that we don't understand at this point but little by little we are figuring it all out. He pretty much talks non-stop all day long now. Mostly jibber-jabber mingled with some English words. Some fun words Brent is saying now are HOT (and he actually knows what it means), PAPA (my Dad), "What's that?" (sounds more like, "Wuzat?"), Danger! (I say this in dangerous situations so I'm not always saying "no!"), and "oh no!"

Brent also LOVES animals. To me, it is so sweet to watch the amount of love he has for creatures. He has every stuffed animal known to mankind and adores them. You can barely see his crib mattress for all the animals. Brent loves to read books about animals, watch movies about animals, play puzzles with animals, and the list goes on and on. So, to add to his list of words, he also says many different animal sounds. You have to hear them to really understand how cute it is. He makes noises for dogs, cats, horses, cows, and my favorite, pigs.

I love being a mommy and especially a mommy to Brent! He is the most wonderful blessing I could ever ask for!

Lost and Found

Yay!! Brandon found my camera! We had left it at his parent's house right by the back door. That is such a huge relief! I had over 100 pics on there from Christmas I would have surely missed! So click on the link to the right to share our Christmas memories of 2009 with us. It was the best one yet!

Techinal Difficulties

Yes, we are still alive. Unfortunately I have no way of getting my Christmas pics/videos up here so I haven't posted anything yet. I have lost my camera somewhere between here and Hyde Co. and for some reason my blog will not allow me to download videos from my new camcorder. I don't know what the deal is.

Anywho, we had a wonderful Christmas and New Years and hope everyone else did as well. We are back home and back into the grind. I spent the last week unspoiling Brent from all the damage his extended family did over the holidays :) I wouldn't have it any other way. Santa was good to all of us and we feel very blessed for all that we have!
